Find the Next Action on a Bid
Use Pipeline to find approaching deadlines, missing owners, and the next action that moves each bid forward.
Open Pipeline → Needs attention for the day's bid review. Each row connects an active opportunity to its responsible person, proposal deadline, and next action.
The recording uses the current interface with clearly labeled training examples. No client records are shown or changed.

Find the work that needs you
- Needs attention shows current bids with an outstanding action.
- Due in 7 days focuses on upcoming deadlines before submission.
- No owner finds bids without an estimator or account owner.
- All active bids includes bids without current flags.
- Review old dates separates unsubmitted bids whose recorded deadline is more than 30 days past.
Use Owner → Assigned to me for your work, or select a person. Search by bid, owner, or blocker. Select a row to open its details; on a phone, Back to bids returns to the list.
Read the next action and its source
The detail panel shows the responsible person, proposal deadline, Next action, and What needs attention. Responsibility comes from the assigned estimator when available; otherwise it uses the account owner and labels that source.
Flags can identify a passed deadline, missing assignment, unset deadline, incomplete pricing, or a missing proposal link. A missing link means a document has not been connected to the opportunity; check Document board before creating another one.
The main action opens the relevant opportunity or document. Make the change there, return to Pipeline, and select Refresh to reload the current information.
Keep the review accurate
Proposal dates and bid status come from the CRM. A submitted bid is not overdue simply because its original submission date has passed. A client-follow-up reminder is based on time since the CRM record was updated, so check the latest correspondence before contacting anyone.
Review old dates is a separate cleanup queue. Confirm whether an old bid is still active before correcting its deadline or status.
The CRM Intake banner, when available to your role, opens incoming emails that still need review. Confirm their opportunity and deadline there before treating them as active bid information.
Keep the document view close
Select Document board to review proposal stages, values, and linked opportunities. Select Needs attention to return to the bid priorities. These are two views of related work: a bid can have several documents, while a document can remain unlinked.
Try your daily bid review
