Estimator

Estimator is the pricing workspace for ANC proposal work. Use it to build budgets, review product selections, compare revisions, and export the scoping workbook used for proposal review.

Open it at proposals.anc.com/estimator.

When to use it

• You need to create a new estimate.
• You need to revise an existing estimate.
• You need to price LED screens, courtside tables, stanchions, control system items, services, or alternates.
• You need to export a scoping workbook.

What the Estimator does

• Creates new estimate projects.
• Lists existing estimates with client, venue, status, value, owner, and last activity.
• Supports search and cleanup of stale drafts.
• Opens each estimate in the detailed Estimator Studio.
• Uses product/catalog data for known display products.
• Exports the scoping workbook when the estimate is ready.

Typical workflow

1. Open Estimator.
2. Click New Estimate or open an existing estimate.
3. Enter client, venue, display, product, and service details.
4. Review product selection, dimensions, pricing, and assumptions.
5. Export the scoping workbook.
6. Move to SOW Builder or Project review when pricing is ready.

Cleanup and bulk actions

The estimator list supports selecting drafts and deleting stale work. Use Select Safe only for drafts that have been marked safe to remove.

Important notes

• Do not overwrite a manually reviewed estimate without confirming the change.
• If source requirements came from an RFP or email, keep the original source attached or linked.
• Product swaps can change dimensions, resolution, power, and pricing; review the workbook before sending.
