Operations Workspace, Inventory & Shifts
Use the restored Operations Workspace, classify NFL events, manage venue images, complete inventory reports, and import shift schedules.
After this lesson you will be able to work in the restored Operations Workspace, add an NFL event, update venue images, complete an inventory report, and preview a shift schedule before importing it.
One operating review before game week
Situation
A venue needs updated branding, an NFL event classification, a physical inventory check, and a new crew schedule before the next game week.
Goal
Update each item from the Services dashboard and leave a reviewable record for the next manager.
Proof
The venue profile is current, the event is classified, the inventory report is reviewed, and the imported shifts appear on the upcoming schedule.
Start in the Operations Workspace
Open Operations from the Services dashboard. The full ANC Operations Workspace appears inside the dashboard, with the table-first areas used for displays, venues, walkthroughs, documents, inventory tracking, and other operating records.
Use the Operations Workspace for structured operating records. Use the focused Events, Venue Profiles, Inventory Reports, and Shift Scheduling pages when you need a guided workflow with validation and review controls.
Classify an NFL event
- Open Events and choose Create event.
- Enter the event details and select the venue.
- Open League and choose NFL.
- Review the date, times, and staffing before creating the event.
Add a venue logo or cover image
- Open the venue and switch to Settings.
- Choose the logo or cover-image upload area.
- Add a PNG or JPEG file and check the preview.
- Keep the image only after confirming it belongs to the correct venue.
The uploaded image remains attached to the Venue Profile, so it is available the next time the page opens.
Complete an Inventory Report
Inventory review path
- 1
Open Inventory Reports and create the venue report.
- 2
Complete all five checklist steps.
- 3
Record physical counts, condition, and useful notes.
- 4
Review any variance or restock flag.
- 5
Submit the completed report for manager review.
An incomplete checklist cannot be submitted. When the physical count differs from the expected quantity, the report calls out the variance. Low counts and damaged items can also create a visible restock flag.
Preview and import a shift schedule
- Open Shift Scheduling and choose Import Schedule.
- Upload a CSV or Excel file.
- Preview the rows before importing.
- Resolve unmatched venues, staff, invalid times, and duplicates.
- Import only the approved rows, then confirm they appear under Upcoming shift schedule.
The import template supports these core columns: Venue, Shift Name, Date, Start Time, End Time, Required Staff, and Staff.
The preview is the review boundary. Do not skip it: confirm the venue, date, time, staffing requirement, and duplicate status before adding rows to the schedule.
Run the workflow once
- Open Operations and confirm the ANC Operations Workspace loads inside the dashboard.
- Open Create event and confirm NFL is available in the League field.
- Open one Venue Profile and locate the PNG and JPEG branding controls.
- Open an Inventory Report and review the checklist, counts, variances, and restock flags.
- Download the shift template and run an import preview before adding any rows.
Check yourself
A shift file contains one unmatched venue and one duplicate row. What should you do?
